Ex Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski completes move to Turkish Super Lig side Antalyaspor


Ex Arsenal striker and German footballer, Lukas Podolski, has completed a move to Turkish Super Lig side Antalyaspor on a free transfer.

The 34-year-old retired Germany star, was a free agent after he concluded his three-year stay in Japan with Vissel Kobe, where he bagged 17 goals in 60 appearances as well as winning the Emperors Cup with the Japanese club. He also won the World Cup with Germany in 2014.

Antalyaspor are in the relegation zone presently after 18 matches but with the addition of Podolski in the team, the club will be hoping his arrival can help them get out of relegation.

Podolski, who also played for Arsenal between 2012 and 2015 scored 31 goals in 82 games for the premiership club.
